50-50 Charity Raffle operates under the following state-based licences: - Queensland (QLD): The lottery is a category 3 game conducted under the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999 (Qld). The Foundation holds license number 158466 under that Act. The lottery is conducted in association with an event scheduled to be held in Queensland. In these terms and conditions the date scheduled for the event is called 'Game Day'.
- Australian Capital Territory (ACT): The raffle is conducted in association with an event scheduled to be held in the Australian Capital Territory and Pursuant to section 6(1) of the Lotteries Act 1964 (the Act). In these terms and conditions, the date scheduled for the event is called 'Game Day'. A maximum of 20,000 tickets will be issued for a raffle operated in the ACT.
- New South Wales (NSW): The Foundation is authorised to fundraise in New South Wales under the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 (NSW): Charity Fundraising Number: CFN/24414 as issued by the Office of New South Wales Fair Trading. The lottery is conducted in association with an event scheduled to be held in New South Wales. In these terms and conditions the date scheduled for the event is called 'Game Day'.
- South Australia (SA): The lottery is a minor lottery conducted in South Australia under the Lottery Regulations 2021 (SA) in association with an event scheduled to be held in South Australia. In these terms and conditions, the date scheduled for the event is called 'Game Day'.
- Victoria (VIC): The Foundation is authorised to fundraise in Victoria under the Gambling Regulations Act 2003 and the Gambling Regulations 2003. Our Victorian Declaration Number (as a Community and Charitable Organisation) is 60205 as issued by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC). The lottery is conducted in association with an event scheduled to be held in Victoria. The laws of Victoria, Australia apply to the lottery and these terms and conditions. Entrants irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian courts in connection with the lottery. In these terms and conditions, the date scheduled for the event is called 'Game Day'.
- Eligibility
- Entrants must be 18 years or over to purchase 50-50 Charity Raffle tickets.
- For "Current Games" conducted in ACT, NSW, SA, VIC and QLD, entry is open to residents of the States listed in the Current Games table and open to all residents of Australia who purchase ticket at the "Game Day" event.
- The following people are not eligible to purchase a ticket and/or win any prizes resulting from this competition:
- members of the management committee of the Foundation conducting the competition and members of their immediate families and/or Relatives; or
- the Foundation itself conducting the competition; or
- employees of the Foundation and their Immediate families and/or Relatives; or
- anyone directly engaged in conducting the draw for the competition and members of their Immediate families and/or Relatives; or
- a Director, employee or a relative of TattsTech, the Commercial Raffle Organiser Licencee in Victoria (Licence number K23000046).
- How to Enter
- Purchasing a valid entry: To enter, entrants must purchase a ticket for an "Current Game" from either a roaming salesperson, by visiting a ticket booth in the venue or purchasing tickets online at www.5050charityraffle.com.au.
- A person may enter the raffle on more than one occasion in accordance with the procedure specified in these terms and conditions, although 50-50 reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse to accept any single entry.
- The lottery opens for entry on or before Game Day and closes on Game Day (or in the case of multi-day events on the final day of the event). The specific opening, closing and draw times for each draw are as per the terms and conditions printed on each ticket, displayed on the website for that draw and listed under "Current Game" clause 6.
- This lottery is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.

The entity facilitating the draw is 50-50 Foundation Limited ACN 161 685 776 (50-50) and the name of the competition is the '50-50 Charity Raffle'. - Prize
8.1 The retail value of each prize is 50% of the total funds raised in the game. The total value of the prize pool is variable on which State the "Game Day" raffle is conducted: - Queensland: The retail value of the prize pool is guided by audience's participation through buying tickets. The prize pool in Queensland is capped at maximum of $100,000 cash.
- New South Wales: The retail value of the prize pool is guided by audience's participation through buying ticket. The prize pool in New South Wales is capped at a maximum of $30,000 cash.
- ACT: The retail value of the prize pool is guided by audience's participation through buying ticket. A maximum of 20,000 tickets will be issued for the raffle. The prize pool in ACT is capped at a maximum of $10,000 cash.
- South Australia: The maximum number of tickets to be sold in each lottery is to the value of $10,000 (see clause 5). The retail value of the prize is 50% of the total funds raised in the game, subject to a maximum prize value of $5,000 as per minor lottery regulations.
- Victoria: The retail value of the prize pool is guided by a fixed raffle total. The prize will be 50% of the fixed raffle total, provided as gift voucher or as cashable gold bullion.
8.2 Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash (if applicable).
8.3 When a winner is drawn, the form in which the prize will be provided depends on the prize winner's State or Territory of residence and is subject to the restrictions placed on cash prizes under the charitable gaming legislation which applies in that State or Territory (refer clause 8.1).
8.4 Prize valuations in Australian dollars and are correct at time of publication, and are subject to the following conditions: - Cash (if applicable) If you win a cash prize, a 50-50 Charity Raffle team member will be in contact within a week after the draw to organise the transfer of the prize to the winner's nominated account.
- Gold Bullion (if applicable) valued at purchase price. If you win gold bullion, you have the option to store the gold with ABC Bullion at no cost or sell part or all of the gold back to ABC Bullion at any time. It is important to remember that the Buy Back price is different to the Sell price of Gold. The Sell and Buy Back prices for gold are listed live and updated on the ABC Bullion website every 5 minutes to most accurately reflect the current market prices. Please note that gold selling costs and market variations do apply when selling the gold bullion and are the responsibility of the winners.
- Travel Vouchers (if applicable) are issued via Travel Associates. Travel Associates is proudly part of the Flight Centre Travel Group. ABN 20 003 279 534. ATAS Accreditation No: A10412. Voucher is valid for 36 months from the date of issue.
- Voucher is redeemable for international and/or domestic packaged product only - booking must include airfare and accommodation.
- Voucher is only redeemable with Travel Associates Geelong branch, for travel arrangements booked by Travel Associates. Your Travel Voucher may not be used for payment of credit or retailer accounts.
- Voucher value is in Australian dollars only and will be deducted from the total cost of the travel booking upon full payment. Where the cost of purchase exceeds the balance of the Travel Voucher, the excess amount must be paid by another payment method. Credit card fees apply to additional payments.
- The Travel Voucher may be redeemed in whole or part during the validity period. Where used in part, no change will be given. Any unused balance may be used against future purchases but will not be refunded or credited when the Travel Voucher expires.
- Voucher may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash, traveller's cheques, cash passports or any other form of currency.
- Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Travel Vouchers are non-refundable.
- Travel Vouchers may not, without the prior written consent of FCTG, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a Travel Voucher is sold or used in breach of this condition, FCTG may in its absolute and sole discretion cancel or render invalid the Travel Voucher without a refund and the Travel Voucher holder may be refused redemption of the Travel Voucher. FCTG will take all reasonable steps to notify you of FCTG's intention to cancel or render invalid a Travel Voucher within a reasonable time before cancelling or rendering invalid the Travel Voucher.
- FCTG may cancel or render invalid any Travel Voucher (including any available balance) which FCTG determines in its absolute and sole discretion was purchased at any time and in any way (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) by fraudulent means. FCTG may cancel any bookings made using any fraudulent Travel Voucher which may include any non-refundable amounts. FCTG will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you if you purchase or attempt to redeem any fraudulent Travel Voucher. You acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to redeem any available balance on any fraudulent Travel Voucher and that FCTG will not be obliged to hold such balance on file for you or otherwise redeem or exchange that Travel Voucher.
- Personal information collected in relation to your Gift Card will be handled in accordance with FCTG's Privacy Policy which is available at http://www.flightcentre.com.au or in store.
- The laws of Queensland, Australia apply to these terms and conditions and any disputes arising in relation to them.
- eGift Vouchers/Gift cards (if applicable) are delivered by Blackhawk Network (Asia Pacific). Each gift card brand and denomination is subject to demand and availability. Therefore, each brand and denomination of gift card may not be available at all times. Each gift card is subject to its own terms and conditions.
8.5 If a prize is not available for any reason, the Foundation will reach agreement with the relevant winner about a substitute prize that is similar to the unavailable prize and of the same or greater value, subject to regulatory approval.
8.6 Subject to clause 8.1, the right to a prize is not transferable or assignable to another person, or redeemable for cash.
8.7 All other costs associated with the prizes which are not expressly stated to be included, including insurance, duties, and taxes, are the responsibility of the winners.
8.8 Winners will have 12 months from the time of the draw to claim their prize. The Foundation will only transfer the prizes to the person named on the winning ticket.
- Conducting the Draw
9.1 This lottery is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.
9.2 The first valid entry drawn randomly will win the prize. The Foundation's decision as to the result of the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.3 The winning number will be published on 50-50's website and on social media. If possible it will also be announced over the loudspeaker and displayed at the event on the venue's big screen. The Winner's name will also be displayed on the website.
9.4 By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing activities relating to the prize.
9.5 50-50 may verify the validity of entries and disqualify any Entrant without notice for providing false information, failing to comply with these terms and conditions or tampering with the entry process. 50-50 is not responsible for any technical difficulties which prevent an otherwise valid entry from being received by 50-50.
9.6 By entering into the lottery the Entrant consents to 50-50 using, modifying and disclosing the Entrant's name, likeness, image or voice (including photograph, film or recording) in any media (including 50-50s websites), for an unlimited time without further reference, payment or any other compensation to the Entrant for the promotion of any products or services of 50-50, including sending the Entrant electronic messages. - Notification to the prize winners
Within 7 days after the draw, the Foundation will attempt to notify the prize winners by telephone or email. The Foundation may also announce or publish the first name and suburb or town of the prize winner on the website, on social media and at the "Game Day" event. - Unclaimed Prizes
Any prize that remains unclaimed will be dealt with in accordance with any applicable regulation and any directions given by a responsible authority under any relevant regulation. - Validity of entries
The Foundation reserves the right, at any time, and in its sole discretion to: - Request entrant to provide proof identity and/or proof of valid entry;
- verify the validity of an entry; or
- disqualify any player who the Foundation has reason to believe has breached any of these terms and conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct or any conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition.
- Computer system issues
No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. The Foundation is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer system, software or Internet difficulties, including any damage to an entrant's computer, resulting from participation in the competition. Any cost associated with accessing or submitting an entry is the player's responsibility. - Liability
The Foundation makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as part of the competition. The Foundation will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in relation to the competition or a prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Foundation makes no representations or warranties that the portion of the funds intended to be raised in connection with a particular entity will ultimately be received by that particular entity, which may arise, for example, where the entity is in breach of its registration agreement and/or the relevant portion of the funds are not able to be applied for the nominated and stated Approved Charitable Project. - Force majeure
If the Foundation is prevented from or delayed in performing an obligation by Force Majeure then the obligation is suspended during, but for no longer than, the period the Force Majeure continues and any further period that is reasonable in the circumstances. - Delay or modification to conduct of the competition
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction or any causes beyond the control of the Foundation, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Foundation reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to state regulation. - No affiliation
Any product or brand names, logos, images and other trademarks featured or referred to within these terms or conditions or on the Foundation's website are the property of their respective trademark owners. Unless otherwise indicated, these trademark owners are not affiliated with the Foundation and do not sponsor, approve or endorse the Foundation. - Changes to terms and conditions
If the Foundation reasonably considers that a change to these terms and conditions is likely to: - benefit players; or
- be of no or immaterial detriment to players,
then subject to obtaining approval from the regulator (if applicable), the Foundation can make the change and may place a notification on the Foundation's 50-50 Charity Raffle website. - Privacy collection statement
50-50 Foundation Limited (ACN 161 685 776) as trustee for the 50-50 Foundation ABN 92 944 713 763, (referred to in this document as the Foundation) is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission that partners with sporting, charitable, and other organisations to conduct charity raffles, art unions, or lotteries (primarily at sporting events) under Australian state and territory charitable gaming laws.
The Foundation respects each individual it deals with and this extends to respecting and protecting personal information. To the extent that the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act), and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) governs the way in which the Foundation must manage personal information, the purpose of this statement is to advise you that by entering the competition, you consent to the Foundation collecting, using and disclosing, in accordance with the Foundation's privacy policy, various personal information about you, including your name, address, phone number, and email address.
The personal information of a purchaser will be collected by way of purchasing raffle ticket(s).
This collection is for the purposes of conducting the competition, locating, verifying, and publishing prize winners, facilitating the Foundation's internal business operations, including internal record keeping and the fulfilment of any legal requirements under charitable gaming laws, analysing the Foundation's goods and services and customer needs with a view to developing new or improved goods and services, providing you with information about the Foundation and the goods and services that the Foundation, or its related entities or organisations that the Foundation has affiliations with, offer that may be of interest to you, and any purpose directly related to any of the above.
If you do not provide the personal information requested, or if the personal information you provide to us is incomplete or inaccurate, the Foundation may not be able to process your entry into the competition or to contact/locate you for delivery of the prize, and the Foundation may be unable to provide you with the information you are seeking.
In order to provide goods and services to you, the Foundation may from time to time disclose your personal information to its employees, contractors, and related and affiliated entities for the purpose of providing its services, operating the Foundation's business, and fulfilling your requests, service providers who assist the Foundation in operating its business (including cloud data storage suppliers, IT suppliers, mail distribution service suppliers, marketing service providers, market research companies, or professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors), and any other entity as required or authorised by law (including law enforcement bodies, relevant authorities, and charitable sector or gaming regulators).
The Foundation is not likely to disclose your personal information to overseas recipients, except as permitted by the Privacy Act, unless the Foundation tells you otherwise at the time or, if that is not practicable, as soon as practicable after the personal information is collected.

- By accessing and using the Websites you signify your acceptance of terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers displayed on or accessible from the Websites. Additional terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers may apply to any person registering with us for the provision of services or entering into any transactions via links from the Websites.

- Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel a ticket purchased in a 50-50 Charity Raffle by contacting prior to the draw date and time advertised for that draw. - Liability
- Nothing in these terms of use affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Except to the extent that guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded, we will not be liable to you for any Loss, Claim or Liability arising from or deemed or alleged to have arisen from or caused by the Websites or their content, including without limitation your or any other person's use or misuse of any content on our Websites, your use or your inability to use our Websites, delays in operation or transmission, communication line failures, or any errors or omissions in content save to the extent that such Loss, Claim or Liability arises directly from our negligence or wilful misconduct or that of any of our officers, employees or agents.
- To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us, our officers, employees and agents from and against any Claims, Loss and Liabilities:

- Intellectual property does or may subsist in or relate to the content in the Websites, including, but not limited to, copyright, patents and trademarks, whether protectable by statute, at common law or in equity, and whether registered, registrable, or not. We own or are licensed to use that intellectual property in all of the content in the Websites and by accessing and using the Websites, you acknowledge such ownership and/or licence.
- No data, file, graphics, images, results or other content in the Websites, including content downloaded from the Websites and material you may receive in connection with the Websites, may be reproduced or distributed without our prior written consent and you agree that you will not in any manner reproduce, modify, adapt, develop, distribute, interfere with, create derivative works from or decompile any such content.
- Definitions
In these terms of use:
"Active Games" means raffles that are open and actively fundraising for the beneficiary nominated by the Partner.
"Australian Consumer Law" means Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
"Claim" means any claim, action, proceeding, litigation, obligation, investigation or demand made against the person concerned however it arises and whether it is present or future, fixed or unascertained, actual or contingent of whatever description.
"Force Majeure" means an event beyond the reasonable control of the Foundation, which occurs without the fault or negligence of the Foundation.
"Foundation" means the 50-50 Foundation Limited ACN 161 685 776
"Liability" means any debt or other monetary liability or obligation however it arises and whether it is present or future, fixed or unascertained, actual or contingent of whatever description.
"Loss" includes any direct, indirect or consequential loss, loss of chance, damage, liability, cost or expense however it arises and whether it is present or future, fixed or unascertained, actual or contingent of whatever description.
"Partner" the sporting club/organisation that has entered into an agreement with the Foundation to conduct a 50-50 Charity Raffle for a nominated beneficiary.
References to "50-50 Foundation", "us", "our" and "we" are references to 50-50 Foundation Limited (ACN 161 685 776) as trustee for the 50-50 Foundation ABN 92 944 713 763.
